TG EDCET COUNSELLING 2026 

The TG EDCET 2026 Counselling will be conducted online by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) after the declaration of results. Only candidates who qualify in the entrance test and secure a rank will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Counselling Process Steps

Candidates who qualify for the TG EDCET 2025 must register for the counselling process, which is conducted online. The counselling schedule is released shortly after the result announcement.

1. Registration & Fee Payment: Eligible candidates must register on the portal and pay the required processing fee.
2. Document Verification: Candidates upload scanned copies of original certificates. Special category candidates (NCC/CAP/PH/Sports) must attend in-person verification.
3. Web Options Entry: Candidates select their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
4. Seat Allotment: Seats are provisionally allocated based on merit, category, and preferences.
5. Reporting: Candidates must report to their allotted college with original certificates and the tuition fee payment receipt.

The official notification for TG EDCET 2026 admissions was released on July 14, 2026. The key dates for Phase I are outlined below:

• Original Degree / Provisional Certificate (PC) and Consolidate Memorandum of Marks (CMM) of the qualifying examination
• Intermediate/Diploma / 10+2 Certificate or its equivalent

• Bonafide (Study) certificates from Class IX to Graduation
• Residence Certificate (for the 7 years preceding the qualifying exam, if applicable)
• Caste, Income, and EWS Certificates (if applicable)

Web Options and Seat Allotment

The counselling process is web-based, and you must use a desktop or laptop to access the portal.

• Web Options: Once your certificates are verified and the list of verified candidates is displayed, you can log in to the official portal to exercise your web options. You should list your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. It is advisable to select as many options as possible to increase your chances of admission. You may also edit your options on the designated date before they are frozen.
• Seat Allotment: Seats are provisionally allocated based on your rank, category, reservation rules, and the web options you submitted. You can check your allotment status on the official website on the scheduled date (August 8, 2026, for Phase I). If allotted a seat, you must download the allotment letter and report to the respective college within the stipulated reporting window (August 10–14, 2026, for Phase I) with your original certificates and the tuition fee payment receipt.
