The Management Development Institute (MDI) has been recognized by UGC (the University Grant Commission). It is also been approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and has received an "A" grade.
MDI has been accredited by several organizations such as – NBA (National Board of Accreditation), AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBAs (Association of MBAs, UK), and AMDISA (SAQS Re-accreditation). It has also been ranked 8th by NIRF in 2022.
