TDU, Bengaluru – Application/Admission Process

• Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to download the relevant application from the official website at tdu.edu.in/admission

• Candidates need to fill in the form in all respects, attach a Demand Draft/online transaction ID, along with all relevant documents, and submit in person to the TDU Academics Office or can be sent via Courier/Speed post.

• Candidates can also apply online on the official website at tdu.edu.in/admission Register with a valid Email ID and Mobile number and fill in the application enter all the relevant data, pay the application fee and submit. Candidates need to obtain a printout of the acknowledgment for future reference.

• All applications submitted by the candidates shall be scrutinized by the University to check if they are by the specified regulations.

• Scrutinized applications meeting the requirements of the university shall be forwarded to an Admissions Committee established by the Registrar (Academics)

• The Members of the Committee shall evaluate the applications based on academic, as well as non-academic achievements indicated by the Candidates.

• Candidates who are shortlisted by the Committee shall receive an invitation via email to appear for a Personal Interview.

• Successful candidates are required to respond within the specified date indicated in the invitation letter.

• Candidates need to attend a personal interview conducted by a Panel comprising of not less than 2 Members nominated by the Registrar (Academics).

The following parameters are typically considered for the selection of the candidates:

• Statement of Purpose (SOP)
• Achievements of the candidate in Academic and Non-Academic areas.
• Candidate’s Communicating skills
• Candidate’s level of confidence
• General Awareness of the candidate in the field chosen for research.
• Candidates who are successful in all respects shall be admitted subject to compliance with the reservation policy of the Government of Karnataka.
