CBSE Board Exams 2027: LOC Portal Opens, Check Fee Details & Guidelines

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened its online portal for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the 2026–27 academic session.

Affiliated schools across India and abroad can now log in using their Affiliation Number as the user ID to register eligible candidates. CBSE emphasized that submitting accurate student data and selecting correct subject codes during this process is compulsory—only students whose details are successfully uploaded via the LOC portal will be granted permission to appear for the 2027 board exams.

Key Deadlines & Schedule

Schools must adhere strictly to the schedule announced by the board to avoid late surcharges or submission issues.

CBSE Board Exam Fee Structure (2026–27)

The Central Board of Secondary Education has outlined a differentiated fee structure based on candidate location and practical requirements.

1. Registration Fee for 5 Mandatory Subjects

Key Guidelines & Exemptions

  • Fee Exemption: Visually impaired candidates appearing for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations are completely exempted from paying any examination fees.

  • Migration Certificates: CBSE announced it will no longer automatically issue printed hard copies of migration certificates. Class 12 students will receive immediate digital access to soft copies upon result declaration. Students requiring physical certificates can apply online post-results.

  • School Verification Responsibility: Board authorities instructed school administrations to complete registration prerequisites prior to finalizing submission forms to minimize administrative errors in candidate records.
