MANIPAL — The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has officially activated the online registration portal for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2027 on its official website, manipal.edu. Candidates intending to pursue undergraduate engineering (B.Tech) and other courses at MAHE campuses can now create their initial portal accounts. The detailed B.Tech application form will be made available shortly.
According to the initial notification released by MAHE, the deadline to complete and submit the MET 2027 Phase 1 application form is March 31, 2027.
The entrance exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) across multiple exam centres in India. Candidates are allowed to appear in either Phase 1, Phase 2, or both phases.
Before proceeding with registration, applicants must ensure they meet the eligibility standards prescribed by MAHE:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 / 10+2 examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board.
Mandatory Subjects: Applicants must have studied Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject.
Minimum Marks: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects combined is required.
Age Limit: No specific upper age limit is mandated for appearing in MET 2027.
Candidates can complete the MET 2027 application process by following these steps:
New Registration: Visit the official portal at manipal.edu and click on 'Apply Now'. Enter essential details like full name, email address, mobile number, and select the preferred course.
Fill Academic & Personal Details: Log in with the system-generated credentials and fill out personal information, postal address, educational marks, and preferred test cities.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and candidate signature in the prescribed file formats.
Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online using Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI.
Application Fee: INR 800 (Registration) + INR 1,200 (Entrance Examination Fee for selected programs).
Form Submission & Confirmation: Review all entered details carefully before final submission, then download and print the confirmation receipt for future reference.
Candidates are advised to keep scanned copies of their academic mark sheets, valid photo ID proofs, and recent passport-sized photographs handy for quick uploading once the full B.Tech form link goes live.
