Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Option Entry Deadline Extended to September 10

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended a key counselling deadline. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 2 option entry now closes on September 10, 2026. Candidates can access the portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The window was earlier set to close on September 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM. KEA has now issued a formal notification revising this deadline. Eligible aspirants can add, edit, or reorder their MBBS and BDS preferences within the new timeline.

Karnataka NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Revised Schedule

KEA has published the updated counselling calendar on its official portal. The table below lists the confirmed dates for the Round 2 window. Provisional and final allotment dates will follow the revised entry closure.

How to Enter Options for Round 2 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in?

The option entry process is fully online through the KEA portal. Candidates must log in with their CET number and password. The steps below explain how to submit or edit choices.

  1. Visit the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Click on the UGNEET 2026 Round 2 option entry link.
  3. Log in using your CET number and password.
  4. Select preferred colleges and courses from the seat matrix.
  5. Arrange choices in order of priority and save entries.

Who Can Enter Options in Round 2?

Only candidates registered for KEA NEET UG counselling can participate. Round 1 non-joiners and fresh Round 2 registrants are eligible. Round 1 joiners who selected the upgrade choice can also enter fresh preferences.

All candidates must have a valid NEET UG 2025 scorecard on record. Category and reservation status must also match the KEA database exactly. Any mismatch may block seat allotment during processing.
