CEED 2019 Exam Pattern

CEED 2019 is an entrance exam conducted every year for interested candidates get admission in Master's in Design (M.Des) course at some of India's top institutes. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay conducts the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) every year. CEED 2019 will be a computer-based test (CBT) where candidates will be asked questions in two parts. As per CEED exam pattern 2019, Part A will have 45 objective type questions of 100 marks while Part B will have 8 descriptive answer type questions of 100 marks. Candidates will get 3 hours where Part A will be of one hour and Part B will be of two hours duration.

The CEED 2019 exam is conducted in two parts, A (Computer-based) and B (Pen & Paper mode).

CEED 2019 PART A Details

  • Part A contains a total of 50 questions.
  • The section carries a total of 100 marks.
  • Part A is divided into 3 sections in which MCQ/MSQ and NAT based questions are asked from the candidate.
  • The time devoted to attempting Part A is from 10.00 hours to 11:00 hours on the day of the exam.

 CEED 2019 PART B Details

  • The Part B of CEED 2019 is of 2 hours duration.
  • This section is pen and paper based examination.
  • Only candidates who clear Part-A of CEED 2019 will be eligible for evaluation of Part-B (10x of the number of seats available).
  • The candidates have to attempt drawing based questions and writing skills based questions in this section.
  • The total for Part-B of CEED 2019 is 100 marks.
