JEE Main 2017 Application Fee and Payment Options

JEE MAIN 2017 has two papers, one for Engineering (Paper-I) and the other for Architecture (Paper-II). Application fee for JEE Main 2017 is different for Pen & Paper based exam and computer based exam. JEE Main 2017 Application fee for the both online and offline modes are given below. All the information about payment modes are given in this article.

Mode of Fee Payment:

1) The fee may be paid either by credit/debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form.

2) Fee payment can also be done through Paytm.

3) For e-challan, payment should be made in Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank in cash.

4) For credit/debit card, there will be additional processing charge as following:

   a) Credit Card: 20% of the examination fee + service tax as applicable.

   b) Debit Card: 75% + taxes for examination fee upto Rs.2000

        and 1% + taxes for examination fee more than Rs.2000.

5) Application Fee is NON REFUNDABLE.

6) Check the status of payment. If the status is OK, take the printout of acknowledgement Page.

7) If the status is not OK:

a) If the fee is paid through e-challan, the candidate should contact immediately the concerned bank to update his/her fee status on the website.

b) If the fee is paid through credit/debit card, it means the transaction is cancelled and the amount will be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within 7 – 10 days. Therefore, such candidates have to pay the fee once again and ensure the OK fee status.
