IISc, Bengaluru has a Placement Co-ordinating Cell to monitor placement activities of outgoing students from IISc, Bengaluru.  The Office of Career Counselling and Placement (OCCAP) not only involved in final placement through OCCAP Portal but also provides training and Industrial visit programs, besides providing internships.  OCCAP also responsible for organising workshops for skill development and industry interaction sessions.  Recruiters share the list of vacancies and recruitment data in the online portal and students are required to apply on the same portal of OCCAP.  Recruiters share information including the recruitment schedule and other related data from time to time.

During the final placement for campus session 2021-22, students from Post-doctorate, Ph.D, Masters and undergraduate programmes have participated.  The highest CTC offered was 60 LPA and median package CTC was 23.0 LPA.
