Undergraduate
To visit official website at http://www.iisc.ac.in/ug fill in the application entering all the required details, upload all relevant documents, make payment of application fee of Rs.500/- by General category and Rs.250/- by reserved candidates.
Candidates need to submit applications online mode only and they must check “General information “available on the website for necessary guidelines.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and National Level Entrance tests like KVPY, JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, NEET-UG shall be called for counselling.
Final selection of candidates shall be made based on their performance in the Entrance Test. After successful completion of the counselling, selected candidates need to complete pre-admission formalities of document verification and payment of fees.
Postgraduation
(M.Des/M.Tech)

Candidates need to fill in the details (1) Personal Details (2) Preference of Departments (3) Details of qualifications and (4) Application fee. Upload all the relevant documents, scan copy of Photograph and Signature of the candidate.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria including the required rank of National Level tests or Written Test and Interview depending on the Programme chosen by the candidate shall be selected during the final selection. Successful candidates need to attend for document verification and payment of the fees.
Selection Criteria for M.Des is 70% GATE/CEED scores and 30% Written Test and Interview. For M.Tech based on the GATE or Written Test/Interview depending on the Programme.
Integrated Ph.D and Ph.D

Candidates need to fill in the details (1) Personal Details (2) Preference of Departments (3) Details of qualifications and (4) Application fee. Upload all the relevant documents, scan copy of Photograph and Signature of the candidate.
Eligible candidates qualified in JAM shall be shortlisted based on their performance in JAM and will be informed to appear for Online Interview. Final selection of candidates shall be based on the rank obtained in JAM/NET JRF, GPAT and Written Test and Interview, document verification and payment of fee.
