UP Board Exam 2027: Students Can Raise Objections To Class 10, 12

UP Board Exam 2027: Students Can Raise Objections To Class 10, 12

Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has officially released the provisional examination centre allotment list for the upcoming Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) Board Examinations 2027. In a major move to ensure fairness and transparency, the Board has invited online objections and representations regarding the proposed allotment of 7,526 exam centres across the state.

Students, parents, school principals, and management authorities who have concerns regarding the proposed examination centres can submit their objections online through the official portal at

upmsp.edu.in.

Key Highlights & Deadlines

  • Exam Board: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP)

  • Classes: Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate)

  • Exam Dates: Scheduled to take place from February 5 to February 24, 2027

  • Total Proposed Centres: 7,526 exam centres statewide

  • Objection Portal Window: Open online until October 28

  • DIOS Scrutiny & Final List Submission: November 6

Why Are Objections Being Invited?

The UPMSP selected the preliminary examination centres through an automated online mapping system using infrastructure data verified by Tehsil-Level Committees. To ensure candidates do not face logistical hurdles, safety risks, or unmanageable travel distances on exam days, the Board allows stakeholders to flag errors or concerns before finalizing the list.

Valid reasons for raising objections include:

  1. Excessive Distance: Exam centre allotted at an unreasonably far location from the parent institution.

  2. Infrastructure Deficiencies: Inadequate seating, poor ventilation, lack of CCTV surveillance, or missing boundary walls at the assigned centre.

  3. Gender Allocation Rules: Violations of guidelines regarding self-centre provisions for female students.

  4. Data Discrepancies: Wrong school code mapping or incorrect capacity tracking.

Step-by-Step: How to Submit Objections Online

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to the official UPMSP web portal at upmsp.edu.in.

  2. Access Provisional List: Navigate to the "UP Board Exam Centre List 2027" link and check the allotment by selecting your respective district and school code.

  3. Open Objection Form: Click on the online representation/objection submission link.

  4. Fill Required Details:

    • District Name

    • School Name & Code

    • Applicant Name and Contact Number

    • Specific reason for objection along with detailed description

  5. Upload Supporting Evidence: Attach valid proof (e.g., distance calculations, structural photos, or official complaints).

  6. Submit Representation: Finalize and submit the form online.

What Happens Next?

Following the deadline, District Examination Centre Determination Committees—headed by the respective District Magistrates (DMs) along with District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS)—will thoroughly review every submitted objection. Verified and genuine grievances will be rectified, and the revised, final list of examination centres will be forwarded to UPMSP online by November 6 for final approval.
